Interesting article regarding the when, what, and how you serve your guests at the wedding.

So this is an interesting post. Not sure if I would agree with the list. Some of these songs I haven’t played in years…
Shoot me an email, become a fan on Facebook, let me know what you think…
How does a dance floor maintain full capacity for hours?! Have a great group of guests who don’t stop for anything!! Charlie and Abby told me they were ready going to have a fun group, and they didn’t disappoint. Fun, Fun, Fun! After a beautiful ceremony, where Abby gave a heartfelt message to her dad, the reception started with a bang. The wedding party made their entrance to “We Got It Going On” by Bon Jovi. After dinner, I shared their Love Story then Charlie and Abby danced to “Soulmate” by Josh Turner. These two truly are soulmates. It is undeniable! The night kept going with more dancing. We even went longer than scheduled because everyone was having a blast! I love this job!
Now this was an interesting wedding. Jonathan and Samuelle have a great story. After meeting one night through Samuelle’s roommate in college, the two were destined to be together. Casual, athletic, and dedicated to their love for each other, Jonathan and Sam planned a wedding reception that could be considered more of a family reunion than a formal event. But, by no means could it be confused with anything other than a celebration of love. From crab pickin’ to Rita’s Italian ice, the guests were treated with some very unique delicacies. Even the rain couldn’t spoil the outdoor ceremony, as the tunes kept going, the boys serenaded just about every lady in the crowd. Very funny.
Jereme and Ryen met when neither of them were truly “looking”. A little over a year ago, their lives would cross paths and change their future forever.
Perfect for each other doesn’t even touch the surface of describing their love. Simply watching them together will show you that they couldn’t be happier.
Ryen knew that Jereme was her future husband from very early on. He couldn’t deny her pursuit, and why would he. As he put it, “I get goosebumps every time we’re together.”
The ceremony was beautiful at the rolling hills of Rock Hill Plantation on July 25, 2009. It was personalized and delivered just the right touches of their personalities. Their reception delivered much of the same, even with the power outage. A storm knocked out the area power, but the party survived and flourished through the delay and after. Party, Party, Party!!
One would think that a wedding reception inside a state park would be a little odd. Well, yes and no. Ryan and Nikki became husband and wife on Saturday, June 13, 2009. Their reception was held at the Bel Air Mansion inside of Belle Isle State Park. The view was amazing. Although by the end of the night, we all had a difficult time seeing each other, the energy was overwhelming.
The Love Story of Ryan and Nikki began on a mistake. Nikki forgot her cell phone on the way to the beach, but turned around to head home. She ended up at a school function and there HE was. Nikki was smitten. Ryan would astound her with his boyish charm, but would offer her the night in shining armor at nearly the same time. The proposal was sweet and touching on that Valentine’s night of 2008. And this evening, romance was in the air as Ryan and Nikki united, sharing their celebration of love with family and friends.
Well, I don’t know how to describe this wedding other than FUN! Josh and Bree were so delightful to work with throughout the whole process. On the night of the wedding, these two stars shined.
Their Love Story began in 2005 in front of no better place for youthful teenagers than Subway. It was a local hangout, and there was Josh, acting as if he owned the place. Bree knew then that he was the type of guy she was looking for in a man. Their attraction to each other continued to grow.
With hilarious story after story, these two finally engaged in 2007. Their long engagement ended Saturday, May 30, 2009, in the gorgeous Belmont Studios of the American Impressionist painter of the 1920s, Gari Melcher.
Josh got so caught up in the moment that he took center stage with a couple of his own renditions of Ring of Fire and Idiot Boyfriend. The night was full of excitement. What a great start to a beautiful marriage!
Mike and Christine were destined to be together. It took some time, but these two are perfect for each other. They have a similar sense of humor, similar writing styles, and very similar trains of thought.
Their Love Story began in 2007 when both of them worked for the same government project. They instantly connected even with their hidden interest in each other. Mike and “Chris” would lead a relationship journey filled with cautious flitations, anxious meetings, and an “at home” unification. They are humble and spirited. It was a joy and honor to serve as their Master of Ceremonies for their celebration of marriage on Saturday, May 16, 2009.
